Black history month celebration 2016 creative contest

Each year, American High School participates in Black History Month by inviting the student body to participate in a Black History Month Creative Contest. Students may participate by creating a video recitation of an original poem or short essay, photography, OR a canvas portraying art work that commemorates an African American person or event, past or present, that truly inspires them and celebrates Black History Month. The winning prizes will be a $150 gift card. Submissions are due by February 26, 2016 at 12PM Eastern Time and there will be two winners: a winner from our middle school and a winner from our high school.
